Welcome to my website!
I am an assistant professor of accounting at Fairfield University. I received my doctoral degree in accounting from Temple University and undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Richmond. Prior to my academic career, I worked as an auditor in various industries at PwC and KPMG in Richmond, VA and Seoul, Korea. I am a licensed CPA (active) in Virginia.
My research interests are in political economy, regulation, and sustainability topics in financial accounting and auditing using textual analysis and natural language processing techniques to text disclosures. My main teaching interests are in accounting information systems, data analytics, advanced financial accounting, and auditing.
In my free time, I love being active (weight training, skiing, and hiking), knitting, spending time with family and friends, playing with my cat Donut and dog Mango, and exploring different cuisines. I am also a big F1 fan.
